Data Center Tour

Explore Nipa Cloud's data center infrastructure, technology, and security.

Electricity Sources

Nipa Cloud Data Center's electrical power system is engineered for maximum reliability, receiving high-voltage utility power from two completely independent Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA) substations:

  • Phase A: Connected via the Si Phraya Distribution Substation
  • Phase B: Connected via the Surasak Distribution Substation

This multi-source power entry ensures ultimate operational stability. If one power feed experiences a failure, the alternate feed immediately absorbs the load. In the event of a total utility blackout on both lines, the facility transitions seamlessly to a standby system of 6 high-capacity diesel generators. Operating in a load-balancing configuration, these generators provide up to 11,400 kVA of total emergency power, delivering top-tier electrical power reliability in Thailand.

Internal Power Architecture

Nipa Cloud Data Center's internal power architecture utilizes a dual power source distribution system for every server rack, supplying power through two completely independent feeds (Phase A/B) to eliminate single points of failure. The facility is equipped with large-scale 120 kVA and 300 kVA Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) units, delivering robust electrical capacity to support over 1,000 servers across more than 50 racks. Backed by multi-set Battery Farms, the system undergoes rigorous Preventive Maintenance (MA) every 2–3 months to inspect, verify health, and ensure 100% operational readiness at all times.
