Data Center Tour

Explore Nipa Cloud's data center infrastructure, technology, and security.

Full Redundancy

Redundancy in a Data Center refers to the duplication of critical infrastructure systems and equipment such as Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), precision cooling, and data storage systems—ensuring continuous Data Center operations without interruption even during component failures.

Nipa Cloud prioritizes risk mitigation and business continuity by designing our Data Center architecture with Full Redundancy. Operating on an N+1 redundancy model at minimum, all critical components feature automated failover capabilities, ensuring immediate backup activation if a primary unit experiences failure or downtime.

Our fully redundant infrastructure covers the following core systems:

Network Internet Exchange (NIX) Connectivity at Nipa

  • Internet Connectivity: Directly connected to Domestic Internet Exchanges (NIX) via AWN-IX (SBN), NT-IX (TOT), NT-IX (CAT), JasTel-IX, and TICC-IX (TRUE), as well as International Internet Gateways (IIG) via AWN-IIG, JasTel-IIG, TICC-IIG, and NT-IIG. If any connection path experiences an outage, traffic is automatically routed to an alternative path, ensuring uninterrupted data transmission and continuous connectivity.
  • Network Equipment: Designed with full redundancy across Internet Core Routers and Top-of-Rack (ToR) switches to ensure continuous service availability and minimize the impact of equipment failures. This architecture supports a 99.95% SLA and enhances overall service reliability.

Electrical Power Redundancy

Nipa Cloud Data Center receives primary power from two completely independent Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA) substations:

  • Phase A: Fed from the Si Phraya Power Distribution Substation
  • Phase B: Fed from the Surasak Power Distribution Substation

If one power feed experiences an outage, the secondary feed immediately maintains the electrical load. In the event of a total dual-feed grid failure, a system of 6 standby diesel generators operating in a load-balancing configuration delivers up to 11,400 kVA of emergency power.

Dual Modular UPS & Battery Farm

Utilizing 420 kVA Modular Online UPS systems equipped with high-precision Digital Signal Processor (DSP) control and Smart Sleeping Mode technology for maximum energy efficiency. The dual power sources and dual modular UPS architecture are backed by a high-capacity Battery Farm totaling over 10,000 Ah, providing at least 1 hour of continuous backup time. This ensures ample operational runway to resolve utility issues or perform concurrent electrical maintenance.

Power Cabling & Receptacles

Power distribution cabling is meticulously routed beneath the raised floor system. Industrial-grade locking power receptacles are deployed to each server rack, maintaining strict physical separation between Phase A and Phase B circuits to eliminate electrical short-circuit risks.
